THIS CLASS IS SOLD OUT

Project: Rye Light by Tin Can Knits
Dates:  Tuesdays, April 11 & May 9
Time:  6:00 - 8:00 pm

Are you ready to knit your first pair of socks? Knit with a hand dyed skein of yarn from Kettle Dyed Yarns from the cuff down using double pointed needles, this sock pattern introduces new sock knitters to basic sock construction using a fingering weight yarn.  Special techniques include heel flap, gusset decreases, and toe shaping.

Materials:  100 grams Kettle Dyed BFL Sock, US #1 & 2 double point needles, stitch marker, tapestry needle.  Please download & print your own copy of the FREE pattern HERE.

Sizes available:  Baby - Adult Large, customizable

This workshop is suitable for Advanced Beginners and Intermediate Knitters.
Intermediate Knitters are Current Knitters who know the basics:  cast-on, knit, purl, and bind off.  Experience working with double-pointed needles is a plus but not required.  This is a fun, ambitious class & will require knitting at home.  We will review the pattern & teach all necessary techniques, with particular attention to turning the heel.

Class size is limited.  Pre-registration is required
